Our client, a leading independent insurance broker based in the heart of Reading, is looking for a motivated SME / Commercial Broker to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your commercial expertise within a supportive, well-established business.
What you’ll be doing:
- Working closely with senior Account Directors on a diverse SME & commercial portfolio
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients, delivering a high standard of service
- Managing renewals, mid-term adjustments and policy administration
- Producing documentation including invoices, policy summaries and certificates
- Assisting with presenting risks to insurers and negotiating competitive terms
- Managing your own small commercial book
- Identifying cross-sell and new business opportunities
About you:
- Experience within commercial or SME insurance
- Strong communication, organisational and administrative skills
- Ability to manage workload effectively with minimal supervision
- Experience with Acturis
- Proactive, detail-focused and client-driven approach
