Role: Tax Senior
Location: Darlington
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000
Our client, a leading independent Accountancy firm in the North East, is seeking to appoint a Tax Senior to its existing team.
Duties for the Tax Senior:
- manage a portfolio of clients consisting of sole traders, limited companies and sole traders
- prepare and submit self-assessment and corporate tax returns
- liaise with clients regarding tax liabilities
- identify tax planning opportunities
- assist the tax manager with ad-hoc projects
Experience for the Tax Senior:
- CTA or ATT qualified would be advantageous but not essential
- experience within a tax role in a UK Accountancy firm setting
- strong communication skills
- strong accountancy IT skills
- organised
