We are working with a well-established retail business, and they are looking for a HR Business Partner to join the business ASAP. This is a hybrid working role – 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
The role would be ideal for a Senior HR Advisor or HR Business Partner who has proven experience supporting with the delivery of the people plan, working with senior leaders, supporting across all advisory areas, and working on key business initiatives and projects. Ideally candidates will have experience working within retail, e-commerce, digital or creative sectors.
Key duties and responsibilities will include:
- Working as part of a busy HR team, reporting into the Head of HR, and supporting a client group of approximately 280 employees.
- Providing generalist HR Business Partnering to the business, including delivery of the people strategy, HR advisory, employee relations, performance management, employee engagement and wellbeing, business culture initiatives and change management.
- Providing guidance and coaching to managers on a range of people matters, including coaching and upskilling managers on non-complex employee relations matters.
- Providing in-house HR advice and support, ensuring that all company policies and processes are consistently applied across the business, and providing expert advice on employment law matters.
- Leading and managing more complex employee relations cases, including disciplinaries, grievances, and investigations.
- Building and maintaining a positive organisational culture, driving company values and expectations, in line with the overall business objectives.
- Delivery of key HR projects, including employee engagement and well-being, review of reward and benefits and organisational change.
- Overseeing and assisting with recruitment and talent acquisition activities.
- Developing and delivering a robust suite of HR people data and trends to support with improvements and recommendations.
- Assisting and overseeing HR administration when needed.
For this role candidates will need to have proven HR experience at this level and ideally hold CIPD Level 5. Experience within a similar sector would be advantageous - retail, e-commerce, digital or creative sectors.
This role is a true generalist HR Business Partnering role, from delivery of the people strategy, HR projects through to being the trusted partner for all day-to-day people matters. Candidates will need to have strong communication and interpersonal skills, be commercially aware and be comfortable working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
