Duties:
- Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
- Preparation of VAT, corporation and personal tax returns.
- Advising and resolving queries for a portfolio of clients in a timely manner.
- Work alongside client managers and Senior Accountants.
- Managing and mentoring junior team members' workload.
- Working with a high-calibre and highly professional client base.
Experience:
- Studying towards an ACA or ACCA level qualification, or qualified.
- At least three years of practice experience advising and producing accounts for clients of various types and sizes.
- Previous responsibility for guiding more junior team members advantageous.
Besides the above skills, the individual will need to be technically proficient with high attention to detail - an out-and-out accounts person. A self-starter that is able to solve problems and spot opportunities, this person will also be a relationship builder who is confident meeting and speaking to clients.
