We are seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented Accounts Semi-Senior to join our client's growing practice team. The successful candidate will work with a varied portfolio of clients, supporting the preparation of accounts and providing high-quality service to businesses across multiple sectors. This role is ideal for someone with accountancy practice experience who is studying towards a professional qualification and looking to progress their career within a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
- Assist with the preparation of management accounts and VAT returns
- Support senior staff with client assignments and year-end accounts preparation
- Liaise directly with clients to obtain records and resolve queries
- Maintain accurate working papers and ensure compliance with accounting standards
- Assist with bookkeeping and cloud accounting support where required
- Prepare corporation tax computations and related schedules
- Meet deadlines and manage workload effectively across multiple assignments
- Support and collaborate with junior team members when required
