The Role
As an Accounts Administrator, you'll play a key role in supporting the finance function and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the accounts department.
Your responsibilities will include
- Processing purchase and sales invoices
- Bank reconciliations
- Credit control and managing customer accounts
- Preparing payment runs
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Supporting month-end processes
- Handling finance-related queries from colleagues and clients
- General accounts administration duties as required
About You: We're looking for someone who has
- Previous experience in an Accounts Administrator or similar finance role
- Experience gained in the insurance industry would be highly beneficial
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
- Experience using Sage accounting software is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach
- The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
