Our client, a leading firm in the city, is seeking to appoint a Tax Assistant Manager to its existing team.
Duties for the Tax Assistant Manager
- manage a portfolio of tax clients across both personal and corporate compliance
- review tax returns, computations and supporting work by junior team members
- support tax advisory and planning assignments
- point of contact for clients
- identify tax planning opportunities
- support the tax manager and director
- coach and support junior colleagues
- oversee the monitoring of compliance deadlines
- oversee in house tax training
Experience for the Tax Assistant Manager
- CTA or ATT qualified
- 5 years experience within a tax role
- experience with the submission and preparation of self-assessment, corporation tax, CGT, ATED, P11D's and securities returns
- strong communication skills
- strong technical knowledge of personal and corporate tax
