My client, an international import and export business, is looking to recruit a Sales Coordinator to be responsible for maintaining and improving customer service levels for a number of offshore accounts within the group and providing office and sales support to field-based Account Managers.
As the Sales Coordinator, you will be:
- Processing and despatching orders
- Maintaining accounts administration, i.e. backorders, booking in deliveries, etc.
- Liaising with Sales Reps, other sales coordinators, and internal departments
- Dealing with all enquiries relating to existing/new accounts on a daily basis
- Acting upon account requests and communicating them to the relevant department
- Preparing shipping documentation and ensuring compliance with customer requirements
- Processing sample requests
- Booking in customers via telephone/email
- Handling general sales and consumer calls
- Maintaining customer scratch pad notes
- Maintaining back orders
As the Sales Coordinator, you will need to be highly motivated and organised, with word and excel experience preferred. Training will be given on all aspects of the job, and you will be working in a small team providing a constant source of backup and assistance.
