We are working with an established small professional services company, and they are recruiting for an HR Advisor to join the business on a part time basis. Hybrid role - 2 days based in the office. Part time - 30 hours per week, flexible on if you split this to 4 or 5 days.
The role will be a generalist HR role reporting into the Head of HR & Operations, who you will work closely with on a day to day basis. Fantastic business with low employee turnover. The role will focus on supporting the business with a range of HR matters and promoting a collaborative and effective working environment.
Working as part of a small HR team this will be a generalist HR position. Responsibilities include:
- Overseeing the operations and maintenance of HR software.
- Making sure holidays, sickness and additional leave is recorded on the HR system.
- Maintaining employee records and ensuring they are up to date.
- Generating reports and analysing data.
- Giving advice and dealing with ER cases, including grievances, disciplinaries, long term sick, absence management, performance management etc.
- Advising and coaching on HR policies and procedures.
- Identifying, recommending and implementing training and development programs.
- Delivering training programs.
- Managing rewards and benefits scheme, acting as main point of contact with providers.
- Managing employee enrolment in benefits programs.
- Dealing with employee queries.
- Reviewing benefits and recommending enhancements.
- Onboarding and offboarding of new employees and organising inductions as well as exit interviews.
- Scheduling and managing performance reviews and setting performance goals.
- Liaising with managers to create job descriptions and coordinating interviews and reference checks.
For this role candidates will need to have proven HR experience within a generalist position. Effective communication and interpersonal skills are essential and the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues. This is a great opportunity that has potential to progress and offers hybrid working, with 20 days holiday (increases with level of service) as well as health insurance, life assurance and health cash plan. Salary c34k - 45k (pro rated this is 27k-36k).
