A highly respected National Broker is looking to add a Commercial Account Handler to its expanding team in Reading due to year on year growth. The business now has national coverage and access to all provincial, London and international markets, in addition to bespoke and exclusive schemes which enables our client to have an enviable presence in the commercial insurance market.

Overview of the Position:
- Servicing accounts with premiums in excess of £1000 across all classes of commercial insurance, including renewals, new business, and MTA.
- Full support and backing of a designated Account Director for market presentations and obtaining quotations from the market.
Our client is looking for a candidate who has the following:
- At least 2 - 3 years commercial insurance experience is essential, along with sales experience.
- Excellent negotiation skills with insurers and prospects.
- A desire to develop new business.
- An ability to meet and exceed targets and KPIs.
- Excellent knowledge of the insurance market and its trends.
- CII or progress towards is desirable.
Skills:
- Excellent face-to-face and telephone communication skills to enhance customer relationships.
- Confidence in negotiation, tackling and addressing insurer objections to achieve the best results for clients.
- Ability to work enthusiastically and to timescales.
- Willingness to undertake bespoke internal computer and technical training together with professional examinations as required.
