Are you an organised and people-focused HR professional looking for a part-time role within a leading Newcastle-based organisation? Our client is seeking an HR Administrator to join their People Team on a 6-month fixed-term contract, providing essential HR and recruitment support across the business.
This is a varied role where you’ll play a key part in keeping HR processes running smoothly, supporting colleagues throughout their employment journey, and assisting with recruitment activity during busy periods.
What you’ll be doing:
- Providing day-to-day HR administrative support across onboarding, induction, probation, absence, benefits and offboarding
- Maintaining employee records and updating HR systems with accuracy and confidentiality
- Preparing contracts, offer letters and employee documentation to support recruitment and new starter processes
- Coordinating inductions and ensuring managers receive timely probation reminders
- Managing the HR inbox, responding to queries and escalating where appropriate
- Supporting the HR Advisor with people development activities and low-level ER administration
- Assisting with recruitment coordination – scheduling interviews, communicating with candidates, posting vacancies and supporting hiring managers
- Helping gather data from new starter and manager surveys to identify trends and improvements
What we’re looking for:
- HR administration or HR coordination experience
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confidence handling confidential information
- A proactive, supportive approach and great communication skills
- Experience supporting recruitment processes or coordinating candidate activity
