Senior Commercial Account Handler – Leeds Location: Leeds Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 Working: Hybrid

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Commercial Account Handler to join a well-established and successful insurance business in Leeds.

Working within a professional commercial team, you will manage and support a varied portfolio of commercial clients, providing a high level of service across renewals, mid-term adjustments and new business.

The Role You will be responsible for

  • Managing a portfolio of commercial insurance clients
  • Handling renewals, adjustments and new business enquiries
  • Preparing market presentations and obtaining competitive terms
  • Liaising with insurers and negotiating cover and premiums
  • Reviewing policy documentation and ensuring cover meets client requirements
  • Supporting Account Executives with the day-to-day management of their clients
  • Building strong relationships with clients and insurer partners
  • Identifying opportunities to develop and expand existing accounts

About You We are looking for an experienced Commercial Account Handler with a strong understanding of commercial insurance products.

You should have experience dealing with a range of commercial covers, which could include Property, Liability, Commercial Combined, Motor Fleet and associated business risks.

You will be organised, confident dealing with clients and insurers, and comfortable managing renewals and servicing a portfolio in a busy commercial environment.

Cert CII qualifications would be advantageous, although relevant industry experience is equally important.
