We are working with an established business who are looking for an experienced Standalone HR Manager to join the business in a standalone role.

Reporting into the CEO and working in a generalist HR role, the role will be both strategic and operational, leading on all HR matters, liaising with employees and providing advice and guidance when necessary. This is a generalist role so all round HR experience within a similar position if essential. Ideally candidates will come have manufacturing or FMCG sector experience.
Key duties and responsibilities:
* Managing the HR function, including recruitment, onboarding and offboarding, performance management and employee relations
* Training and development as well as rewards
* Liaising with managers and senior leaders to coach and advise on people issues, from conduct to capability
* Ensuring company compliance is inline with UK employment law, health & safety requirements, and company policies
* Overseeing absence management, shift patterns, and workforce planning to support production needs
* Driving initiatives to keep improving employee engagement, retention, and wellbeing
* Keeping HR systems & records up to date as well as reporting and liaising with payroll
* Organisational development, succession planning, and culture-building
* Managing any external HR/ER advisors and liaising with trade union/employee representatives if needed
Key skills:
* CIPD Qualified
* Strong experience within manufacturing or FMCG sector
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* HR generalist experience within small or standalone role
