We are working with a well-established and growing technology firm, and they are looking for a Head of Talent Acquisition / Head of Recruitment to join the business ASAP. This is a hybrid working role – 2 days from home and 3 days in the office.

The role would be ideal for a seasoned Senior Talent Professional who has experience supporting the business in a high growth period, by identifying and hiring top talent across the UK and US regions at all levels of the organisation. Experience in tech or software industries would be advantageous.

The company has ambitious growth plans over the next 2-3 years, and this role is pivotal to ensure growth and meet the international strategic goals and overall business plan. Reporting into the Head of People and leading a small international recruitment team, the role will be responsible for the effective delivery of the recruitment strategy and budget, overseeing all recruitment activities, including talent mapping and employee retention.

Key duties will include:

  • Reporting into the Head of People, responsible for leading all operational and strategic aspects of talent acquisition in a high growth environment.
  • Leading, managing and growing the recruitment team across the UK and US.
  • Develop, deliver and implement an effective recruitment strategy to support with the organisation’s ambitious growth plan over the next 2-3 years, ensuring the company attracts, hires, and retains the best talent in the industry.
  • Manage and be responsible for the talent acquisition budget, working with the C-Suite to ensure this is in line with company goals, tracking recruitment spend against budget.
  • Create attraction and recruitment strategies resulting in high calibre talent being recruited across the UK and US regions.
  • Collaborate closely with the SLT and hiring managers to understand and support hiring needs and contribute to the company's growth and success.
  • Conduct an in-depth review of current employee’s job descriptions, understanding the roles within the business and identifying talent gaps following the review.
  • Produce new and innovative ideas and strategies that will expand the candidate pool, establishing relationships and strategies that attract high performing recruits.
  • Strong focus on direct candidate identification and sourcing of talents in the target markets within the UK and US.
  • Review and continuously improve the Talent Acquisition processes and recruitment team performance.
  • Developing relationships with key stakeholders and hiring managers.
  • Managing and overseeing the full recruitment process for all roles including involvement with successful onboarding and retention of talent.

Identify opportunities to automate and streamline recruitment processes and talent data, including the use of leveraging AI-enabled tech to improve candidate experience, operational efficiency and data-driven decision making.

For this role candidates will need to have proven experience at this level, ideally within a high-growth international business. Experience in developing and implementing sourcing strategies, and building and maintaining talent pools across UK and International locations (US ideally) is essential.

This is a fast-paced role, where you will be expected to deliver on the global recruitment strategy, working with the C-Suite and SLT, whilst also being hands-on with all recruitment operations. Candidates must be proactive, hold strong communication and interpersonal skills and work to a high level of accuracy.
