THE ROLE
As Membership Advisor you will report to the Leisure and Membership Manager and work as part of a team whose scope is to handle membership enquiries and promote, sell and administrate a variety of different styles of membership options across our Leisure, Spa, Golf and Marina facilities. Some key things you will be responsible for:
- Maintaining a presence on the resort discussing membership with new and current members
- Membership enquiry handling and sales
- Accurate and detailed administration of memberships
- Direct debit runs
- Refunds
- GDPR and PCI compliance
- Sourcing new members to meet targets
- Walk‑ins, and show rounds
- Outreach projects and special events
- Member feedback and enquiries
- Promotion and support of the marketing plan
- NOP/EAPs
- Liaison with Finance on membership budgets

TO BE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY YOU WILL ALSO NEED
- National 5 qualifications in English and Maths or equivalent qualifications
- A background in sales is essential and experience of working within the leisure, spa, golf or marina industry would be an advantage
- Selling and negotiating skills
- To be organised, and diligent with strong attention to detail
- A passion for administration, sales and service
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong IT skills with knowledge of Microsoft programs and ability to use technology (we use ResortSuite)
- Due to the location and the resort wide responsibility a driving licence is essential
