THE ROLE: Our Leisure Club based in the Main house is a popular family friendly club with a host of much loved features all improved and fully re-furbished. A family beach pool with water features for kids is complemented with an adult pool for more serious swimming, and our much loved flume slide returns together with a bubble pool, steam room and sauna. A gym at the back of the club features new Technogym equipment throughout and is supported with two new purpose built spin and exercise studios. The scope of this role of receptionist is to ensure a warm friendly welcome, check in guests and members and provide information and direction in relation to all aspects of our busy operation to ensure an exceptional experience on every visit.

Key things you will be responsible for:

  • Cleanliness and presentation of club reception and surrounding areas
  • Check guests and members with a warm welcome
  • Answering queries and providing information and direction
  • Answering phones and emails
  • Promotion of memberships, fitness and retail
  • Booking classes, gym and personal training sessions
  • Having extensive knowledge of all resort facilities and activities
  • Provision of First Aid, and follow up reporting
  • Reporting maintenance defects
  • Handling feedback or special requests
  • Providing direction to new employees
  • General assistance with all aspects of the Leisure operation

TO BE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY YOU WILL ALSO NEED:

  • National 5 in English and Maths or equivalent qualifications
  • Experience of working in a similar customer service role
  • Any leisure based, or first aid at work qualification would be an advantage
  • Ability to quickly build excellent working relationships and externally, with a flexible approach to work
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient IT skills with knowledge of Office software and ability to use technology (we use ResortSuite)
