THE ROLE: As Front Office Reception Supervisor you will report to the Reception Manager and supervise a large reception team in the exceptional delivery of 5* service on check in and check out. Key duties and responsibilities of the role include:
- Guest check-in and check-out, billing, queries, resort knowledge, and call handling.
- Leading daily briefings and handovers.
- Organising daily workload, delegating tasks and coordinating breaks.
- Monitoring performance via checklists and SOPs.
- Providing feedback, and undertaking informal counselling to support improved performance.
- Supporting the team with operational issues as they arise.
- On job training of new employees.
- Handling and resolving guest feedback.
- Departmental requisitions.
- Billing queries, adjustments and recoveries.
- Allocations and queued rooms.
- No shows.
- Cash ups and banking.

TO BE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY YOU WILL ALSO NEED:
- HND or equivalent/ or equivalent experience in hospitality.
- Current or recent experience in Reception/Front Office/Reservations within 100+ bedroom hotel or resort at 4/5* standard.
- Strong IT skills, proficient in use of Microsoft Word & Excel, experience with Resortsuite or similar property management systems beneficial.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal.
