THE ROLE: With the ambition to be the best Grill Restaurant in Scotland, Cameron Grill sits in the heart of Cameron House with wonderful views across Loch Lomond.
- Proficiency in the tasks of Apprentice and Commis Chefs
- Cleaning schedules, food storage, food preparation, and service cleardown
- Participation in daily briefings and handovers
- Completion of daily food hygiene checks and due diligence records
- Supporting breaks across the kitchen
- Consistent production of food to recipe and presentation standards in SOPs
- Providing feedback to the junior team to support improved performance
- Supporting with any shift challenges
- On job training of new employees
- Supporting the management of allergens and team awareness
- Departmental requisitions, stock control, and recording of wastage

TO BE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY YOU WILL ALSO NEED:
- SVQ in Food Production at SCQF Level 5 or equivalent qualification or equivalent industry experience
- Level 2 Food Hygiene Qualification
- Current or recent experience as Demi Chef De Partie or Chef De Partie, in a quality hotel or restaurant
- To be thorough, with keen attention to detail
- Ability to quickly build excellent working relationships
- A flexible approach
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic IT skills with knowledge of Office software and ability to use technology
