THE ROLE
Reporting to the Night Manager, the Assistant Night Manager plays a key leadership role in the overnight operation of the resort, ensuring exceptional guest service, operational efficiency, safety, security and compliance across all departments during the night.
Acting as the senior operational contact in the absence of the Night Manager, you will lead the night team, support departmental colleagues, resolve guest concerns and ensure the resort operates seamlessly throughout the night.
Key things you will be responsible for
- Lead the overnight guest experience, ensuring guests receive a warm, professional and personalised service while handling enquiries, requests and complaints effectively.
- Support late arrivals, departures, VIP guests and special requests, promoting resort facilities and experiences to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Act as the senior manager on duty in the absence of the Night Manager, supporting and leading the night team to deliver exceptional service standards.
- Coordinate overnight operations across all departments, providing guidance and decision-making support during operational issues and emergencies.
- Oversee the night audit process, ensuring financial transactions, guest accounts and operational reports are completed accurately and in line with company procedures.
- Take responsibility for the safety and security of guests, colleagues and resort assets through regular patrols, floor walks, fire safety checks and emergency response procedures.
- Ensure visitor and contractor registrations are completed and monitored, maintaining compliance with resort security protocols.
- Coach, support and develop colleagues, fostering a positive, guest-focused culture and assisting with training and team performance.
- Ensure public areas, guest corridors and other guest-facing spaces are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation and luxury hospitality.
- Identify and address maintenance, housekeeping and operational concerns proactively, supporting the continuous improvement of overnight operations and guest satisfaction.

- Front office management or supervisory experience in a 4/5* Hotel environment
- Great interpersonal skills, with an ability to build excellent working relationships
- Thoroughness, with keen attention to detail

- UK Driving Licence Essential
