THE ROLE

The scope of the role is to support the Director of Finance in the administration and monitoring of our time and attendance system and liaison with our bureau to ensure all employees are accurately paid.

Key things you will assist with

  • Maintaining T&A system ensuring accurate rotas created and closed on a timely basis
  • Liaison with payroll bureau to ensure accuracy of processing and for deduction summaries and earning statements
  • Daily and weekly payroll reporting against forecast
  • Overtime and lieu administration
  • Handling salary queries, making any wage corrections or adjustments and handling overpayments
  • Onboarding support and administration
  • Leaver administration
  • Administration of contractual changes
  • Recording, monitoring and reporting of absence and all other leave
  • Ensuring accuracy of NML/NMW rates
  • Pension Administration
  • PMI Administration
  • Submitting HMRC tax reports and pension payments
  • Fostering communication and compliance in the use of the system, training and supporting new managers
  • General administration assistance within Finance and Human Resources

  • Minimum National 5 qualification in Maths and English or equivalent
  • Experience of working in Finance/Accounts, with payroll experience an advantage
  • Hotel or customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to quickly build excellent working relationships
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong IT skills, proficient in Microsoft packages especially Excel spreadsheets including formatting, calculations and formulas.
