THE ROLE: Our Leisure Club is much loved by locals and guests alike. Our facilities are state-of-the-art and includes two swimming pools and a high tech gym. Our team of fitness instructors offer classes and personal training in our studios whilst our poolside and reception teams ensure safety and service in this dynamic place of fun, fitness and relaxation located in the heart of the main house. The scope of this role is to ensure pool safety, provide emergency first aid response, and support pool activities including swimming lessons as well as general assistance throughout our busy leisure operations.
- Cleanliness and presentation of pool and poolside
- Supervision and safety of the pool and poolside
- Explaining and enforcing safety rules
- Responding to any incidents or accidents
- First Aid, and follow up
- Water sampling and testing
- Reporting faults/defects
- Supporting pool activities and kids activities including swimming lessons
- Handling feedback or special requests
- Providing direction to new employees

TO BE ELIGIBLE TO APPLY YOU WILL ALSO NEED:
- STA or NLPQ Lifeguard Qualification (or Emergency Pool Responder Qualification Level 2) or equivalent qualification
- Current First Aid At Work and Pool Plant Certificate an advantage
- Aqua Aerobics certificate/Gym Level 2 or Level 3 qualification or equivalent
- A great personality and be genuine, approachable, attentive and instinctive
