Our approach to diversity in the workplace, health and wellbeing, sustainability and individuality sets us apart from our competitors and is one of the reasons we're recognised as one of the Top 30 Best Places to Work in Hospitality. We're passionate about hospitality and always on the lookout for talented people to join us on our journey.

THE ROLE:

We're looking for an experienced and commercially astute Revenue Manager to join our team and play a key role in shaping the continued success of this iconic resort.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who understands that revenue management within a luxury resort goes well beyond selling bedrooms. With multiple revenue streams, a diverse guest mix and demand driven by everything from seasonal leisure breaks to corporate events and special occasions, you'll have the opportunity to make a genuine impact across the business.

Working closely with the resort's senior leadership and commercial teams, you'll be responsible for developing and delivering revenue strategies that maximise performance, strengthen market position and support the long-term success of Cameron House.

We're looking for someone with a passion for luxury hospitality, a sharp commercial mind and the confidence to challenge, influence and bring fresh thinking to the table.

If you're ready to take the next step in your revenue management career at one of Scotland's most distinctive luxury resorts, we'd love to hear from you.

Key things you will be responsible for:

  • Revenue Strategy & Commercial Performance: Lead the development and delivery of the hotel's revenue management strategy, with a wider focus on maximising commercial opportunities across the resort. Balance rate growth, occupancy and profitability while ensuring our approach reflects the premium positioning and unique guest experience that Cameron House is known for.
  • Pricing, Forecasting & Market Intelligence: Take a proactive approach to understanding demand across our different markets, from luxury leisure and seasonal breaks to corporate, groups and events. Analyse booking trends, daily pick-up, competitor performance and market conditions to develop effective pricing strategies that maximise revenue throughout the year.
  • Total Resort Revenue Optimisation: Look beyond accommodation to identify opportunities across the resort's wider offering, including dining, spa, golf and leisure experiences. Work closely with operational and commercial teams to understand guest behaviour, identify opportunities to grow spend and support the overall profitability of the resort.
  • Distribution & Direct Booking Strategy: Ensure Cameron House is positioned effectively across all distribution channels, balancing reach and visibility with the cost of acquisition. Identify opportunities to increase direct bookings, maintain rate integrity and ensure our distribution strategy supports the resort's luxury positioning and commercial objectives.
  • Revenue Systems & Technology: Take ownership of revenue management and distribution systems, ensuring accurate pricing, inventory management and data integrity. Maximise the capabilities of systems including Duetto, Opera and SynXis, while continually looking for ways to improve processes, reporting and the online booking experience.
  • Inventory, Groups & Events Management: Manage room inventory and pricing controls to ensure we're maximising opportunities across both individual and group business. Work closely with the Sales and Events teams to evaluate group enquiries, undertake displacement analysis and make informed decisions that balance short-term opportunities with longer-term revenue potential.
  • Budgeting & Financial Performance: Take ownership of Total Revenue forecasting, budgeting and performance reporting. Work closely with the wider commercial team to establish ambitious but achievable targets, support annual sales and marketing plans and identify opportunities to improve revenue and profitability across the business.
  • Reporting & Commercial Insights: Provide meaningful analysis of revenue performance, booking pace, market share, segmentation and business trends. Translate data into clear recommendations and present insights to the resort's senior leadership team, commercial stakeholders and ownership to support informed decision-making.
  • Commercial Collaboration: Build strong working relationships across Sales, Marketing, Reservations, Food & Beverage, Spa, Golf and Operations. Play an active role in commercial meetings, ensuring revenue strategies reflect the needs of the wider resort while keeping commercial performance at the heart of decision-making.
  • Continuous Improvement & Innovation: Challenge existing ways of working and bring new ideas to the table. Whether it's refining pricing strategies, improving forecasting accuracy, exploring new distribution opportunities or identifying ways to increase guest spend, you'll continually look for opportunities to strengthen the resort's commercial performance.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

  • Proven Revenue Management Experience: Ideally 3–5 years' experience in a hotel revenue management role, with a proven track record of delivering revenue growth and commercial results. Experience within a luxury hotel, resort or complex hospitality environment would be an advantage.
  • A Passion for Luxury Hospitality: An appreciation of what makes a luxury resort different. Understanding the importance of guest experience, brand positioning and maintaining rate integrity while maximising commercial opportunities.
  • Commercial Awareness: An ability to see the bigger picture, balancing occupancy, average rate, market share and profitability. You understand how different revenue streams contribute to overall resort performance and can identify opportunities to drive Total Revenue.
  • Analytical & Strategic Thinking: Confident working with data, identifying trends and turning insights into practical commercial strategies. You'll have significant Excel skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to make well-informed decisions in a changing market.
  • Revenue Systems Expertise: An in-depth understanding of revenue management systems, property management systems and distribution platforms. Experience with Duetto, Opera and SynXis would be particularly beneficial, alongside a good understanding of dynamic pricing, forecasting and inventory management.
  • Distribution & Profitability Knowledge: A good understanding of distribution within an independent luxury hotel environment, including channel mix, cost of sale and the impact of commercial decisions on overall profitability.
  • Confident Communicator & Influencer: Someone who can build value-adding relationships across different departments and communicate commercial strategies clearly and confidently. You'll be comfortable working with senior stakeholders, challenging ideas constructively and bringing people together around shared objectives.
  • Proactive & Solutions-Focused: A curious and forward-thinking approach, with the confidence to question the status quo and identify better ways of working. You're comfortable taking ownership, solving problems and adapting quickly to changing business needs.
