As Assistant Manager you will support your Manager in managing all aspects of your outlet including recruitment, training and development of your team, guest satisfaction, profitability and meeting all statutory requirements. Typical daily tasks include:
- Allocation of duties for the day, week and month
- Mise-en-place and stock management
- Team Briefings
- Kitchen liaison
- Setting of service goals and incentives
- Hosting the Door and the Floor
- Checking on tables and VIPs
- Handling and resolving feedback or issues as they arise
- Providing hands on support to the team where needed
- Debriefs
- Monitoring Liquor GP
- Overseeing payments and Res Diary tasks
- Ensuring completion of all pre-set tasks and checklists
- End of shift reports and banking
- Communicating with relevant Managers on any critical issues.

To be eligible to apply you will also need:
- Current/recent management or strong supervisory experience within a high volume quality bar environment
- Experience of working in Operations in a 4/5* hotel environment preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a passion for people and service
- WSET Level 2, Personal Licence Holder, Food Hygiene, First Aid and Trainer qualifications all desirable
- Strong IT skills are essential and Res Diary experience would be an advantage.
- Due to the patterns of work, and layout and location of the resort a UK Driving Licence would be beneficial.
