HOUSEKEEPING ASSISTANT (Turndown)

Our 208 bedrooms are an exquisite blend of traditional and contemporary, or guests can opt for a home from home in one of our 115 self-catering lodges or luxurious Mansion House suites. The iconic lochside setting is a timeless celebration of grandeur and natural beauty. Spanning 400 acres of picturesque Scottish countryside, with adventure on the doorstep. Loch Lomond, with its impressive backdrop, is the perfect location for a variety of water and land activities, including speedboat tours, paddleboarding, canoeing, kayaking, 4X4 off-road driving, falconry, and more.

The Role

The scope of the role is to ensure guest housekeeping needs are attended to throughout the evening, ensuring the highest level of comfort before and during sleep by providing evening service and replacement of amenities.

Key Things You Will Be Responsible For

  • Servicing (cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, bed making and provision of linen and in room amenities) any late departures, room transfers or outstanding bedrooms
  • Answering guest requests
  • Turndown duties in allocated rooms which will include:
  • Turn back bed covers, hang any clothes and arrange shoes
  • Bathroom refreshes, wiping down, replacing towels, tissues, amenities if use
  • Wash and polish any dirty glasses, replace water, replenish napkins and wash fruit knives and plates
  • Clear table and arrange books and magazines neatly
  • Empty bin
  • Check pillows and bed linen, remake if necessary
  • Close curtains
  • To maintain cleanliness and tidiness in corridors at all times
  • General assistance in relation to the housekeeping, public areas and laundry department
