The scope of the role of Housekeeping Room Attendant is to clean and present hotel suites and bedrooms to exceptional 5 star standards in readiness for new arrivals, and to maintain cleanliness and amenities for in house guests throughout their stay.
Responsibilities
- Make beds, change sheets, remove used linen and replenish toiletries
- Clean toilet areas
- Dust and polish fixtures, mirrors, tables, desks, headboards, window sills
- Replenish refreshment tray
- Vacuum carpets and mop floors
- Removal of rubbish and recycling
- Stock up trolley and prepare for next day
- Privacy and security of guest rooms
- Provide information and direction, and answer guest queries
- Report in-room damage and maintenance issues
- Securely handle lost property
- Tidy and clean staircases and corridors
- Seasonal deep cleaning and general assistance across all areas of housekeeping when required
