The Role

The scope of the role of Public Area Cleaner is to clean and present shared areas within the resort to exceptional 5-star standards, including the lobby, restaurants, bars, restrooms, corridors, locker rooms, leisure facilities, staircases, lifts, and back-of-house areas.

Key Things You Will Be Responsible For

  • Removal of rubbish and recycling
  • Vacuuming, brushing, mopping and polishing of floor coverings
  • Dusting, glass cleaning and polishing of fixtures and fittings
  • Scrubbing of sinks and toilets
  • Correct presentation of furniture and upholstery
  • Replenishment of supplies in rest rooms and locker rooms
  • Providing information and direction to guests
  • Maintaining stock of supplies on your trolley and in storage areas
  • Care and security of equipment
  • Assisting with seasonal deep cleaning tasks and providing general assistance to other areas within housekeeping
