Situated on the shores of Loch Lomond, Scotland\’s breathtaking jewel, Cameron House is a magnificent 5-star resort. Uniquely positioned where the Scottish Highlands meet the Lowlands, this 17th-century baronial estate is rich in character and history. Our 208 bedrooms are an exquisite blend of traditional and contemporary, or guests can opt for a home from home in one of our 115 self-catering lodges or luxurious Mansion House suites.

The Role
With ambition to be the best Grill Restaurant in Scotland, Cameron Grill sits in the heart of Cameron House with wonderful views across Loch Lomond. This setting is intimate, elegant and welcoming, whilst accommodating 180 covers. Table side theatre and sommelier service delivered with flair will ensure Cameron Grill’s prominent role in delivering our vision to be Scotland’s leading 5* resort.
The scope of the role of Food and Beverage Assistant within the Cameron Grill is to create a warm welcome and create special memories through the fun and relaxed 5* service of food and beverage.
Key Things You Will Be Responsible For
- Confident menu and service knowledge
- Preparing for service – Mise en place
- Cleanliness and presentation of your bar section
- Setting and presentation of tables
- Providing recommendations and taking orders
- Liaison with the kitchen team and clear communication of special dietary requirements
- Service and replenishment of premium drinks, cocktails, wines, champagnes and teas and coffees
- Checking satisfaction and handling additional requests and feedback
- Capturing guest preferences and special requests for future reference
- Billing, presentation and payments
- Clearing tables and resetting for next service
- Requisitions and secure handling of stock
