Situated on the shores of Loch Lomond, Cameron House is a magnificent 5-star resort. This 17th-century baronial estate offers an award-winning Spa with rooftop infinity pool, an 18-hole championship golf course, a wide range of resort activities, and five restaurants and bars. Our 208 bedrooms blend traditional and contemporary styles; guests can also choose a home from home in 115 self-catering lodges or Mansion House suites. The lochside setting spans 400 acres with activities including speedboat tours, paddleboarding, canoeing, kayaking, 4x4 off-road driving, and falconry. Located about 40 minutes from the centre of Glasgow, with Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park nearby for leisure in your free time.

The Role: We have Chef De Partie opportunities to suit a wide variety of culinary styles. Our menus are created around locally sourced fine food and are prepared with passion, creativity and flair. As Chef De Partie your scope is to support your Head Chef by leading your section.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proficiency in the tasks of Apprentice and Commis Chefs, including mise en place
  • Cleaning schedules, food storage, food preparation, and service cleardown
  • Consistent production of food to recipe and presentation standards in SOPs
  • Providing feedback to the junior team to support improved performance
  • Supporting with any shift challenges
  • On job training of new employees
  • Departmental requisitions, stock control, and recording of wastage

To Be Eligible To Apply You Will Also Need:
  • Current or recent experience as Demi Chef De Partie or Chef De Partie, in a quality hotel or restaurant
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Food Hygiene qualification an advantage
