Our 208 bedrooms are an exquisite blend of traditional and contemporary, or guests can opt for a home from home in one of our 115 self-catering lodges or luxurious Mansion House suites. The iconic lochside setting is a timeless celebration of grandeur and natural beauty. Spanning 400 acres of picturesque Scottish countryside, with adventure on the doorstep. Loch Lomond, with its impressive backdrop, is the perfect location for a variety of water and land activities, including speedboat tours, paddleboarding, canoeing, kayaking, 4X4 off-road driving, falconry, and more.
Located aside our Leisure Club with amazing ground floor views across the front lawn to the Loch, our Tavern is the perfect place to relax with friends and family for an informal drink or classic pub food at any time of the day. Guests can watch as the action of the best sporting events unfold on our big screens, whilst enjoying a range of draught and bottled beers and great coffee. It's the resorts largest bar which can accommodate 155 guests inside and 60 on the outside terrace, just perfect on a sunny day.
Reporting to our Director of Food and Beverage and Assistant Director of Food and Beverage, as the Tavern Bar Manager your role will be to lead the bar and staff to deliver a fun and relaxed but 5* food and beverage service.
Key things you will be responsible for:
- Allocation of duties for the day, week and month
- Mise-en-place and stock management
- Team Briefings
- Setting of service goals and incentives
- Hosting the Door and the Floor
- Checking on tables and VIPs
- Handling and resolving feedback or issues as they arise
- Providing hands on support to the team where needed
- Debriefs
- Overseeing payments and Res Diary tasks
- Ensuring completion of all pre-set tasks and checklists
- End of shift reports and banking
- Communicating with relevant Managers on any critical issues

- Experience of supervision and of working in similar quality food and beverage environment
- Thorough, with keen attention to detail
- Ability to quickly build excellent working relationships
- A flexible approach to work to meet operational demand
- Basic IT skills with knowledge of Office software and ability to use technology
