The Role
The scope of the role is to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation in Guest bedrooms and suites, and the provision and distribution of clean laundry and in-room amenities through supervision of room attendant, portering and laundry teams.
- Key Things You Will Be Responsible For
- Delivery and supervision of daily tasks and checklists including bed making, vacuuming, dusting, polishing, scrubbing sinks baths and toilets, and the removal cleaning and re-distribution of linen and amenities
- Lead daily briefings and handovers
- Organise daily workload, delegate tasks and co-ordinate breaks
- Monitoring performance via checklists and SOPs
- Provide feedback, and undertake informal counselling to support improved performance
- Support the team with any shift challenges
- On job training of new employees
- Handling and resolving guest feedback
- Departmental requisitions
- Handling lost property and reporting damage, theft and loss

- To Be Eligible To Apply You Will Also Need
- HND/NC/SVQ or equivalent qualification or equivalent experience in hospitality or tourism related field
- Experience of working in similar quality housekeeping environment
- Thorough, with keen attention to detail
- Ability to quickly build excellent working relationships
- Excellent communication skills
- Basic IT skills with knowledge of Office software and ability to use technology
