Cameron’s are a leading UK Events agency based in Glasgow and we’re looking for a skilled & motivated Audio-Visual Technician to join our dynamic team. We specialise in delivering high-quality audio-visual solutions to a diverse range of clients across various industries. Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot audio visual equipment such as projectors, sound systems, LED wall, and lighting systems.
- Set up and operate audio visual equipment for presentations, meetings, conferences, and events.
- Conduct equipment checks and perform routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their audio-visual requirements and provide technical support and guidance.
- Coordinate with the project team to plan and execute audio visual events.
- Stay updated with the latest audio-visual technologies and trends to recommend innovative solutions to clients.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Audio-Visual Technician or a related role.
- Solid knowledge of audio-visual equipment, including projectors, sound systems, LED walls and lighting systems.
- Familiarity with audio visual signal flow, cabling, and connectors.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting technical issues and resolving them in a timely manner.
- Knowledge of power management best practices for audio visual setups.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with clients and colleagues.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a collaborative environment.
- Flexibility to work outside regular business hours when required.
- A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to client sites.
Bonus points if you have experience with Vmix, Absen LED wall and Novastar controllers.
Salary Range: 26-32k depending on experience.
