Our client manufactures, finishes, stores and distributes printed products for customers across the UK from their Wolverhampton production facility.

They are looking for a practical, reliable and flexible Warehouse & Print Production Operative to support their warehouse, dispatch and production teams.

This is a varied role where you’ll play an important part in keeping materials and finished products moving efficiently, while supporting the delivery of quality products for customers.

This is a great opportunity for someone with warehouse experience who wants to develop new skills within a successful commercial print environment.

The Role

As a Warehouse & Print Production Operative, you will support the day-to-day running of the warehouse and production areas.

You’ll be responsible for handling materials, preparing customer orders, supporting dispatch activities and assisting production teams when required.

Key responsibilities

  • Receiving deliveries of paper, consumables and finished goods
  • Loading and unloading vehicles safely
  • Moving materials throughout the warehouse and factory
  • Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders
  • Booking courier shipments
  • Checking incoming deliveries
  • Supporting print finishing and production departments
  • Packaging, labelling and palletising finished work
  • Operating pallet wrapping and polywrapping equipment
  • Carrying out local deliveries when required
  • Maintaining a clean, organised and safe workplace

Requirements

Essential

  • Valid Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence
  • Previous warehouse experience within a manufacturing or production environment
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Good organisational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Physically fit and able to handle manual duties safely
  • Good communication skills
  • Flexible approach to work
  • Reliable, punctual and hardworking
  • Basic computer skills
  • Strong awareness of workplace health and safety

Desirable

  • Flexi Forklift Truck licence
  • Experience within commercial print or manufacturing
