Are you the right person for the job?
You’ll be an experienced IMS or Compliance professional with strong knowledge of ISO standards and a practical, improvement-focused mindset. You’ll be confident leading audits, managing compliance obligations, and working with teams across the business to embed high standards.
You’ll bring:
- Proven experience managing or maintaining an Integrated Management System
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 (ISO 45001 desirable)
- Experience leading internal audits and supporting external certification audits
- A solid understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving ability
- Strong communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels
Desirable (but not essential):
- Lead Auditor qualification (ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001)
- NEBOSH qualification (where HSE forms part of the IMS)
- Experience within the construction or related industries
- Experience using digital QMS / IMS systems
What will your role look like?
- Developing, maintaining, and continually improving the organisation's Integrated Management System
- Ensuring ongoing compliance with ISO standards and internal governance requirements
- Leading internal audits and coordinating external certification and recertification audits
- Maintaining IMS documentation, policies, procedures, and process controls
- Monitoring statutory, regulatory, and industry compliance requirements
- Managing risk assessments, corrective actions, and compliance registers
- Analysing performance data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
- Supporting departments with SOPs, process documentation, and best practices
- Delivering IMS and compliance training and driving employee awareness
- Reporting compliance status, risks, and improvement actions to senior leadership
- Conducting compliance audits across operational functions, supporting incident investigations, and developing compliance and quality communications where required
