Ready to bring great ideas to life? Are you an experienced Video Producer who loves variety, enjoys working with clients and gets a buzz from seeing a project go from an initial idea to a finished film? If you're looking for a role where you can take ownership, get involved and create work you're genuinely proud of, this could be the opportunity for you. Come and make great work with us.

Our client is a Leeds-based video production and animation company looking for an experienced Video Producer to join their team. They make films that help organisations explain what they do, tell brilliant stories, engage audiences and build trust. That might be a brand film one week, a customer case study the next, then a quirky animation, recruitment campaign, TV advert or social content series after that. No two projects are the same, which is exactly how they like it. They are a small, agile and good-humoured team with big ambitions. They work hard, care about the details and take their clients' projects seriously, while creating an environment where people are trusted to bring ideas to the table. They are now building the next stage of the business and want someone who is excited to be part of that.

About the role

This is a hands-on, client-facing producer role for someone who understands video production from first conversation to final export. You'll help take projects from initial brief through creative development, planning, filming, editing and delivery. You'll work closely with clients, contributors, camera crews, editors, animators, and the internal team to ensure every project is organised, creative, on budget, and delivered to a high standard. Your days will be varied. You could be planning a shoot, shaping a script, working on location or collaborating with the edit team to get a film over the line.

What you'll be doing

  • Producing video projects from initial brief through to final delivery
  • Speaking with clients, understanding their aims and helping shape the right production approach
  • Developing creative ideas, storylines, scripts, interview structures and production plans
  • Planning shoots, schedules, crews, kit, contributors, locations and logistics
  • Keeping projects moving, organised and on budget
  • Producing and overseeing filming days so shoots feel calm, professional and well run
  • Working closely with camera operators, editors, animators and motion graphics artists
  • Managing post-production, including edit schedules, client feedback, amends, graphics, captions and final exports
  • Spotting opportunities to make projects stronger, clearer or more useful for the client
  • Keeping an eye on new production trends, social content styles, AI tools and digital platforms
  • Being a positive, organised and proactive member of the team

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone creative, organised, practical and confident with clients. You'll probably already have experience producing professional video content for a production company, agency, brand or in-house team. You'll understand how shoots work, how edits come together, how to manage expectations, and how to keep a project on track without losing sight of the creative idea. You should have:

  • Experience producing professional video content
  • A strong understanding of pre-production, production and post-production
  • Confidence speaking with clients and asking the right questions
  • Good storytelling instincts and the ability to shape a brief into a clear film
  • Strong organisation and the ability to manage several projects at once
  • A practical understanding of filming, editing, graphics, audio and delivery workflows
  • A commercial awareness of budgets, schedules and production value
  • The ability to stay calm when things change, because in production, they often do
  • A collaborative mindset and a willingness to muck in when needed
  • A genuine interest in making video content that is engaging, useful and well crafted

Useful experience

Experience in some of the following would be a bonus:

  • Brand films
  • Customer case studies
  • Corporate video production
  • Animation or motion graphics workflows
  • Social media video
  • TV advertising content
  • Public sector projects
  • Interview-led films
  • Script development and storyboarding
  • Managing freelancers, crews or suppliers

You don't need to tick every box. They're more interested in finding the right person: someone with experience, energy, good judgement and the desire to help keep improving.

What you'll be like

You'll be a good fit if you are:

  • Positive, professional and easy to work with, with a collaborative approach and clear communication skills
  • Highly organised, reliable and comfortable taking responsibility
  • Confident with clients and approachable in your communication
  • Calm under pressure, creative, curious and practical
  • A team player who takes pride in producing great work

Why join?

You'll be joining an established Leeds production company at an exciting stage of its growth, with the opportunity to work across varied projects and have a genuine say in how the team develops.

What you'll get in return

  • A creative role in an established Leeds production company
  • A varied mix of projects across different sectors
  • Studio-based working in Leeds
  • Good transport links
  • On-site free parking
  • Pension scheme
  • Ongoing learning and development
  • A supportive, friendly team
  • The chance to have a genuine impact on how they work and grow
