Our client, based at Unit 5 Beech Court, Fenstanton, is excited to expand their team with the addition of a Head Pastry Chef. This is a full-time position that offers a fantastic opportunity for anyone passionate about patisserie.
They are looking for the right candidate to take their production to another level.
Are you the right person for the job?
- The relevant candidate should have experience as a pastry chef or a Head pastry chef
- Be familiar with making pastries and petit gateaux, competent with chocolate work and be able to manage a team
- Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
- Attention to detail and a passion for the craft
- Collaborate with the culinary team to plan and design pastry menus
- Ensure consistent taste, presentation, and quality of all pastries by maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and cleanliness in the kitchen
- Efficiently manage ingredient inventory, place orders, and monitor stock levels to avoid shortages or wastage
