Warehouse Operative | Cambridge, CB24 4UQ | Full Time | £31,000 + Uncapped Performance-Related Bonus

Are you an experienced Warehouse Operative looking for your next permanent opportunity?

Our client is a high-class brand management and distributor of premium appliances. Operating out of a state-of-the-art facility, they provide an exciting opportunity to join an established customer service team focused on delivering best-in-class service to customers across direct-to-consumer websites and marketplace platforms.

The Role

As a Warehouse Operative, you’ll play an important role in keeping the warehouse operation running smoothly and making sure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.

Hours:

  • Week 1: 08:00 – 16:00
  • Week 2: 11:00 – 19:00

Key Responsibilities

  • Loading and unloading vehicles
  • Moving stock safely using manual pallet trucks and MHE
  • Operating MHE and putting palletised stock away
  • Picking and packing products accurately and efficiently
  • Completing goods-in checks and associated paperwork
  • Labelling, unpacking and repacking products carefully
  • Carrying out stock movements and ensuring products are handled safely
  • Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment
  • Following all relevant health and safety procedures
  • Working closely with the wider warehouse team to meet customer requirements

Requirements

Essential

  • Reliable, punctual and well organised
  • Take pride in doing things accurately and to a high standard
  • Enjoy working as part of a team
  • Comfortable working at pace in a busy warehouse environment
  • Can follow processes and instructions carefully
  • Good attention to detail and confident counting and checking stock
  • Positive, hardworking and “can-do” attitude
  • Happy working independently as well as part of a team

Desirable

  • Previous warehouse experience – advantageous but not essential
  • MHE experience, particularly flexi trucks – advantageous
