Our client is a fast-growing MedComms agency, specialising in medical education for rare and ultra-rare disease areas. They work closely alongside their clients in the pharmaceutical industry and a range of healthcare professionals to deliver valuable support across various projects, including meetings, digital materials, webinars, and website development. They are devoted to high-quality client service and accurate science, so the role will suit someone who can work well as part of their supportive team and is keen to pitch in with all aspects of the business.
Account Managers play a pivotal part in their team. Under the guidance of Account Directors and company Directors, AMs direct day-to-day management of projects, as well as supporting other members of the team, including the Account Director, Creative Director, and Senior Project Co-ordinator. The work is interesting, varied, and busy, but always creative and satisfying. The role will involve working on more than one account, with plenty of opportunities for growth and development, as well as chances to travel and work closely with key leaders in the healthcare field.
They offer a flexible hybrid arrangement including 1 day per week working in their Chesham office, which is accessible by train (a 10-minute walk from Chesham tube station on the Metropolitan line) and by car (with plenty of nearby parking).
Are you the right person for the job?
- Minimum 2 years’ experience with a healthcare agency
- Located within reasonable commuting distance, 1-2 hours of our Chesham office
- A decent proofreader – spelling/grammar mistakes don’t stand a chance around you
- A passion for delivering projects to the highest standard
- Must have Veeva experience
- You organise and prioritise like a pro

What will your role look like?
- Be part of a fantastic team delivering high-quality medical communications projects on time and on budget
- Liaise with clients to build ongoing relationships and maintain effective communication
- Support medical education event management and provide on-site support
- Assist with medical writing processes, from high-science HCP materials to patient-friendly content
- Develop materials for conferences, congresses, advisory boards, symposia, webinars, product launches, and post-launch campaigns
- Work on digital and creative materials, including websites and videos/animations
- Provide client support via , email, and in-person meetings
- Research brand, market environment, key clinical studies, and strategic planning for pharmaceutical clients
- Contribute to brand messaging development and strategic input
- Assist in pitching for new business opportunities
- Perform administrative tasks, including arranging and attending client/supplier meetings
- Help manage budgets, campaign costs, and client invoicing
