Our client is a UK joint venture company, equally owned by two globally recognised leaders in process and industrial automation. The Warehouse Operative is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the warehouse by receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods accurately and efficiently. The role ensures stock is handled safely and warehouse processes are completed in line with company procedures, quality standards, and health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and unload incoming deliveries
  • Check goods against delivery notes and report discrepancies or damages
  • Accurately store products in designated warehouse locations
  • Pick and pack customer orders to required quality standards
  • Prepare goods for dispatch, ensuring correct labelling and documentation
  • Conduct stock checks and assist with inventory control activities
  • Maintain accurate records using warehouse management systems (WMS) or handheld scanners
  • Ensure the warehouse is kept clean, organised, and free from hazards
  • Follow all health, safety, and security procedures
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and efficiency
  • Assist colleagues and managers with other warehouse duties as required
