They are currently seeking an experienced Operations Coordinator to support the wider operations team and contribute to the ongoing success of the business.
The Role
As an Operations Coordinator, you will provide essential support to the operations team, ensuring the smooth scheduling and delivery of engineer works while maintaining excellent customer relationships and providing effective administrative support.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule engineers' weekly work assignments using the works scheduler
- Demonstrate proficiency in using Microsoft Excel to create and maintain spreadsheets
- Assist with customer queries and complaints, working to resolve issues effectively
- Accurately input and maintain engineer reports and related documentation
- Arrange hotel bookings and travel requirements as required
- Complete general administrative duties and support business operations as required
- Follow up on repeat business opportunities with existing clients
- Liaise effectively with engineers to support smooth coordination of works
- Schedule and coordinate engineer appointments and work activities
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of solutions in line with customer requirements and objectives
- Identify opportunities for growth and support the development of existing customer relationships
Requirements
Essential
- Previous experience in a similar role
- IT literate, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Results-driven with a focus on achieving objectives
- Exceptional communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work in a methodical and calm manner
- Calm under pressure and able to complete specified time-bound tasks
- Self-motivated and able to work autonomously
- Ability to use own initiative while recognising when matters need to be referred to the Senior Management Team
- Presentable and able to undertake duties in line with management recommendations and instructions
Desirable Criteria
- Previous experience working in an Engineering environment
