Salary: £12.85 per hour + Weekly Bonus Incentives

Hours: Wednesday and a Saturday. Ideally, 9am-9pm on a Wednesday and 9am-5pm on a Saturday.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Receptionist / Salon Coordinator to join our team and play a key role in delivering an outstanding client experience.

The Role

This is a key position within the business, with the reception team being the first point of contact for every client. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to make a real impact by creating exceptional client experiences, supporting the team and contributing towards the overall success and growth of the salon. This is not simply a traditional reception role — we are looking for someone who is proactive, commercially aware and enjoys being part of a busy, energetic environment. You will work as part of a close-knit team of three, supporting each other to achieve salon goals and providing the highest level of service to every client.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcoming clients and providing a warm, professional first impression
  • Answering incoming calls and managing client enquiries
  • Booking appointments and ensuring diaries are managed efficiently
  • Maximising booking opportunities and ensuring appointments are scheduled effectively
  • Taking client payments accurately
  • Responding to email enquiries and WhatsApp messages
  • Contacting clients regarding appointments, enquiries and follow-ups
  • Supporting therapists by identifying opportunities to help achieve salon targets
  • Promoting treatments, services, packages and current offers
  • Ensuring client consultation forms are completed correctly
  • Checking patch tests are completed and up to date
  • Supporting retail stock checks and maintaining stock awareness
  • Creating and updating spreadsheets
  • Tracking salon targets and sharing updates with team leaders/directors
  • Serving refreshments to clients
  • Maintaining a clean, organised and welcoming reception area
  • Supporting with light housekeeping duties, including keeping the retail area tidy, maintaining the coffee machine and refreshments area, ensuring cups and client areas are clean and ready

About You

We are looking for someone who is confident, organised and passionate about delivering excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous reception, front‑of‑house or customer service experience
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional telephone manner
  • Strong organisation skills and attention to detail
  • The ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure
  • Confidence using computer systems, spreadsheets and digital communication platforms
  • A proactive approach with the ability to identify opportunities
  • A positive attitude and willingness to support the wider team
  • The flexibility to work Saturdays as required
