The Role
- Deliver high‑end quality household furniture, garden furniture, bedrooms, kitchens and bathroom systems directly to end consumers, along with steel manufactured products to businesses.
- Ensure goods are handled with the utmost care.
- Follow planned routes and think on your feet when faced with obstacles and mishaps on the road.
- Communicate effectively with customers, installation teams and the operations desk.
- Be courteous and polite at all times, maintaining a good appearance.
- Work well as part of a two‑man team.
What We're Looking For
- Must be CPC qualified.
- Excellent literacy and communication skills for paperwork and customer contact.
- Preferable experience handling high‑end quality goods.
- Physically fit due to manual handling requirements.
- Confident in strapping and securing obscure loads, i.e. loose kitchen units, canteen lockers, appliances, etc.
- Flexible with availability, night outs and varying start and finish times.
- Overnight stays are required as vehicles can be scheduled on 2‑3‑day runs. Overnight allowances are paid upfront to cover costs.
