Our client is a Manchester-based transport, warehousing and logistics provider offering bespoke delivery services throughout the UK and Europe. With secure warehousing facilities and specialist two‑man home delivery services, they are committed to providing a personal, professional and reliable service to customers of all sizes.

The Role

  • Deliver high‑end quality household furniture, garden furniture, bedrooms, kitchens and bathroom systems directly to end consumers, along with steel manufactured products to businesses.
  • Ensure goods are handled with the utmost care.
  • Follow planned routes and think on your feet when faced with obstacles and mishaps on the road.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, installation teams and the operations desk.
  • Be courteous and polite at all times, maintaining a good appearance.
  • Work well as part of a two‑man team.

What We're Looking For

  • Must be CPC qualified.
  • Excellent literacy and communication skills for paperwork and customer contact.
  • Preferable experience handling high‑end quality goods.
  • Physically fit due to manual handling requirements.
  • Confident in strapping and securing obscure loads, i.e. loose kitchen units, canteen lockers, appliances, etc.
  • Flexible with availability, night outs and varying start and finish times.
  • Overnight stays are required as vehicles can be scheduled on 2‑3‑day runs. Overnight allowances are paid upfront to cover costs.
