Are you an experienced construction sales professional looking for uncapped earning potential and the opportunity to build your own territory? Privett Windows is a specialist supplier of high-end timber windows and doors, working across premium residential and renovation projects throughout London and the South East. We are known for combining traditional aesthetics with modern performance, supplying bespoke timber window and door systems to homeowners, architects, contractors and developers. Our projects range from period property refurbishments and listed buildings to large private homes and high-end developments.

The Role

This is primarily a field-based role focused on representing Privett Windows, building relationships with clients and supporting the sales process for bespoke timber window and door projects. Based around Cobham, Surrey (KT11), this role will involve regular travel across London, Surrey, Hampshire, Berkshire, Sussex and surrounding South East areas. This role would suit someone with previous experience in construction, architectural products, glazing, windows & doors, or other consultative field sales environments. Given the technical and bespoke nature of our products, the successful candidate will also be expected to spend approximately 1-2 days per week working from one of our offices during the onboarding and learning period. This will help build product knowledge, understand our internal processes and work closely alongside the wider team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generating and developing new business opportunities
  • Attending site visits, showroom meetings and client appointments
  • Building relationships with architects, builders, developers and homeowners
  • Following up incoming enquiries and converting opportunities into sales
  • Preparing quotations and assisting clients with specification decisions
  • Managing projects from initial enquiry through to order stage
  • Understanding client requirements and providing a consultative approach throughout the sales process
  • Working closely with our internal technical and operations teams
  • Maintaining accurate records of opportunities and client communication
  • Representing the Privett brand professionally at all times

Requirements

Essential

  • Previous experience in B2B or consultative sales
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Confident dealing with trade professionals and private clients
  • Professional and confident manner
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Organised and commercially aware
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Comfortable travelling to client meetings and construction sites

Desirable

  • Experience within construction, glazing, windows & doors, architectural products, or high-end residential projects
