The Old Black Lion is an award-winning restaurant and B&B, situated in the book town of Hay-On-Wye. We are a family-run business that takes pride in using local produce and suppliers wherever possible, supporting our community and delivering fresh, high-quality food. We have an exciting opportunity to join our kitchen team at The Old Black Lion, working closely with our Head Chef and wider team in a supportive and professional environment.
The Role
- Supporting the Head Chef and wider kitchen team during daily service
- Preparing and cooking dishes to a high standard
- Assisting with maintaining kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Working with local produce and suppliers where possible
- Supporting smooth kitchen operations during service
