About CDS
CDS exists to provide, support and promote co‑operative and community‑led housing so that more people can live and work in co‑operative ways. We are the country’s largest provider of governance, financial and housing management support to small housing co‑operatives, we are a small social landlord in our right and we are innovating new routes to grow community‑led housing in England.
The opportunity
We’re establishing a major new Procurement Act‑compliant digital Open Framework, appointing Plentific as managing agent. This framework will give social landlords a safe, easy and compliant way to procure contractors for works large and small all digitally enabled. As Procurement Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in setting up and running this framework and in maturing CDS’s wider procurement approach.
About You
You’re a collaborative procurement professional who brings credibility with colleagues and suppliers alike. You can balance rigour with pragmatism, translate legislation into workable practice and communicate simply. You will have or be working toward a relevant professional qualification (e.g. MCIPS) and have at least three years experience managing procurement within a regulated public sector or housing environment.
