We have a fantastic opportunity for a Health & Safety Co‑ordinator to join our Health Safety & Environment Team at the Leyland Facility, where the Chicago Town Pizzas were first produced over 30 years ago. The role involves promoting and strengthening the existing health and safety culture, with an emphasis on training and audit.
Your Responsibilities
- Support and maintain a site‑wide strategy that delivers a sustainable culture of excellence.
- Promote our existing health and safety culture, engaging staff through training and audit.
- Lead initiatives to analyse key business drivers, prioritise, plan and deploy improvement actions that drive sustainable results.
- Liaise with stakeholders, including visiting our head office in Leeds and occasionally travelling internationally.
What’s The Role?
The Leyland Facility is a state‑of‑the‑art production site. You will work as a key member of the HSE Team, delivering health and safety practices that meet both short‑term and long‑term goals while ensuring critical statutory projects are completed on schedule.
Who Are We Looking For?
You should have a minimum of a NEBOSH Certificate and a desire to further develop your knowledge. A confident communicator with a professional attitude, you will guide and inspire others to take responsibility for HSE. You must be detail‑conscious, able to solve problems in a rapidly changing environment, and handle short‑term time‑pressured goals alongside strategic objectives.
