What’s the role?
The Leyland Facility is where the Chicago Town Pizzas started over 30 years ago. We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our state-of-the-art production facility and play a key role working alongside our teams who are proudly making the Dr. Oetker and Chicago Town branded pizzas.
A career at Dr Oetker will provide you with:
- An environment where you will be an integral member of the Facilities Maintenance Team, being responsible for all aspects of maintaining buildings and ancillary equipment that is critical for the day-to-day operations of the factory.
- The opportunity to work with, and support where necessary, the site maintenance engineering teams, the production teams, and the Capital Investment Project team to ensure the smooth operation of the site, and assist with continuous improvement initiatives.
- A role where you will also work closely with the Capital Investment Project Teams in order to stay up to date with new equipment and facilities being procured and installed, in order to make the visions of our “future factory” a sustainable reality.
As a key member of the Facilities Maintenance Team, you will be responsible for ensuring optimum availability levels (particularly from an electrical) are sustained on all pieces of all equipment and processes.
Who we are looking for?
At Dr Oetker we believe that our employees play a key role in our success. To be successful in this role, you must have a thorough understanding of ancillary (facilities type) electrical equipment, maintenance techniques, and standards required to confidently carry out fault finding, repairs and upgrades (where possible). You will need to be able to stay calm and think rationally when under pressure due to the implications of the facilities equipment being associated with a live production environment.
You must be a confident communicator with a personable and professional manner. You will need to have the ability to interact and relate to all levels of colleagues, good communication and teamwork with all stakeholders from shop-floor to Director level is paramount. You will be able to build strong trusted working relationships within all departments, as well as being able to safely, firmly, and fairly, manage contractors when they are required to carry out work on site
You must have knowledge and experience of electrical installation standards, facilities equipment, and working with a CMMS based facilities maintenance program.
