The Leyland Facility is where the Chicago Town Pizzas started over 30 years ago. We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our state-of-the-art production facility and play a key role working alongside our teams who are proudly making the Dr. Oetker and Chicago Town branded pizzas.

Responsibilities

  • As an integral member of the Projects Team, responsible for all aspects of Project Management – from cradle to grave, where good communication and teamwork with all stakeholders from shop-floor to Director level is paramount.
  • The opportunity to support with the organisation and delivery of key strategic projects.
  • A role where you will be able to help drive the development of the site and make the visions of our “future factory” a reality.
  • You will be responsible for capital based projects; from initiation, through solution development and Capex approval, to installation, commissioning, completion and handover, including undertaking risk assessments, budget management and the management of co-ordination of subcontractors on site.

Qualifications

  • At Dr Oetker we believe that our employees play a key role in our success. To help shape our future you must have a thorough understanding of the project lifecycle process and terminology – and have experience in project managing internal and external teams to deliver new services for plant and manufacturing equipment, extensions and modifications to the manufacturing site, procurement and installation of new equipment etc. within agreed budget and timescales.
  • A confident communicator with a personable and professional manner, you will have the ability to interact and relate to all levels of colleagues and to build strong trusted working relationships both internally and externally.
  • The ability to work within a rapidly changing environment is key, as is the ability to work (and stay calm) under pressure to meet tight deadlines whilst demonstrating you have a keen eye for detail with excellent planning and organisational skills.
  • You will have a minimum 5 years experience of project management experience in a FMCG environment – particularly managing projects associated with process/packaging equipment, and able to utilise AutoCAD to manipulate and update drawings.
  • Ideally you will have a recognised Project Management qualification and be conversant with MS Projects.
