Production Scheduler Up to £41,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits Hybrid Working | 15 Month Fixed Term Contract

Do you enjoy being at the centre of a busy manufacturing operation where no two days are the same? We’re recruiting for a Production Scheduler to join a global market-leading manufacturer, playing a key role in ensuring production plans run smoothly while balancing changing customer demand, manufacturing priorities and operational performance.

Working closely with Production, Transport, Customer Service, Quality and Raw Materials, you’ll be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day production schedule, solving problems as they arise and keeping operations running efficiently.

The Role

  • Create and manage daily production schedules across multiple manufacturing lines
  • Respond to changing customer demand and operational priorities
  • Work closely with Production, Transport, Quality and Raw Materials to keep production on track
  • Attend daily planning meetings and adjust schedules where required
  • Coordinate planned maintenance, production trials and downtime
  • Monitor schedule performance and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Balance production capacity, stock availability and customer requirements

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Previous experience in Production Planning, Scheduling, Supply Chain or Manufacturing Planning
  • Experience working within manufacturing, FMCG, engineering, automotive, pharmaceutical or similar production environments
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to remain calm whilst managing changing priorities
  • Strong communication skills and confidence building relationships across different departments
  • Good Excel skills with experience of ERP systems such as SAP advantageous, but not essential
