We're looking for a Technical Sales Manager with a specialism in Robotics to play a key role in growing an exciting portfolio of robotic cleaning technology and digital solutions across the UK. This is a fantastic full time, permanent opportunity for someone who can combine strategic thinking, technical understanding and commercial sales expertise to develop new markets, build strong customer relationships and drive significant revenue growth.

You'll take ownership of the sales strategy for robotics and digital solutions, identifying new opportunities and turning them into commercial success. You'll work closely with Area Sales Managers and Key Account Managers, providing guidance, product knowledge and support to help maximise sales and unit targets.

As Technical Sales Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and delivering a winning UK sales strategy
  • Identifying new markets, sectors and commercial opportunities
  • Building strong relationships with key customers, distributors and industry contacts
  • Supporting and coaching sales colleagues to develop their robotics sales
  • Using your technical knowledge to demonstrate the value and applications of robotic solutions
  • Managing sales pipelines, conversion rates and commercial performance
  • Leading negotiations and supporting the successful close of opportunities
  • Keeping ahead of market trends, competitor activity and customer needs
  • Working collaboratively with Marketing, Training, Service, Hire and Customer Care teams

As Technical Sales Manager, you must be/have:

  • Commercially driven, technically curious and confident working with customers and sales teams
  • Previous experience in technical, solution-based or B2B sales
  • An understanding of robotic technology is essential, and its applications, ideally within cleaning or a related industry
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong commercial and strategic thinking
  • Experience supporting, influencing or developing sales teams
  • A customer-focused approach with a genuine passion for finding solutions
  • Strong analytical, planning and organisational skills
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Flexibility to travel across the UK and occasionally overseas
