Cameo is recruiting for a Programme Manager to join an established and innovative technology business based in Banbury on a full time, permanent basis. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their project management career within a software and technology environment, working on interesting customer projects with a real-world impact. You'll work closely with internal teams and customers to plan, coordinate and deliver software development, configuration and implementation projects - keeping everything moving, managing expectations and making sure projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the expected standard.
As Programme Manager you will be responsible for: Planning and coordinating projects from initiation through to delivery and customer sign-offCreating and maintaining project plans, schedules, milestones and deliverablesCoordinating software development, configuration and implementation activityWorking closely with Product, Engineering, Business Analysis and Professional Services teamsSupporting Agile ways of working, including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews and retrospectivesMonitoring project progress, identifying blockers and keeping delivery on trackManaging scope, change requests, risks, issues and dependenciesCoordinating customer deployment activity, including testing, data migration and go-liveActing as a key day-to-day contact for customers and managing stakeholder expectationsRunning project meetings and providing clear updates on progress, risks and next stepsSupporting budget, resource and forecast trackingProducing accurate project reports and maintaining project documentationSupporting project handover, customer sign-off and lessons learnedContributing ideas to improve project processes, tools and ways of workingAs Programme Manager you must be/have: You'll ideally have experience in a Project Manager or similar project delivery role, together with: A recognised project management qualification such as PRINCE2, APM or Agile/ScrumAn understanding of software development and the software development lifecycleExperience of Agile delivery methods such as ScrumStrong organisational and planning skills, with excellent attention to detailThe ability to identify risks and issues early and turn them into practical actionsConfidence working with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersExcellent communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationshipsExperience using project management and Microsoft Office toolsA good understanding of budgets, resources, timescales and project deliveryIt would be great if you also have: Experience within defence or another highly regulated environmentKnowledge of learning technologyExperience delivering SaaS or enterprise software implementationsAn understanding of training systems or learning technologiesUK Security Clearance, or eligibility to obtain itWhy consider it?
